East Providence City Council Meeting

Since the last election, courageous officials in East Providence have been at the forefront of protecting long-suffering taxpayers, fighting entrenched special interests, and working hard for the greater good. While we have been winning the battles, we have not yet won the war. We need your help to win again in 2010!

The East Providence Republican City Committee invites all reform-minded citizens to attend its next great fundraising event to benefit its R.I. General Assembly candidates -- the "Super Summer Sizzler." The event will be held on Thursday, September 2, 2010, at the Santa Maria Cultural Center, located at 846 Broadway, in East Providence, from 6:30 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. It will feature Heavy Hors d'Oeuvres and Delectable Desserts with a Cash Bar, a great Silent Auction, as well as a top-notch Speaking Program.

Expected speakers include: E.P. Assistant Mayor ROBERT CUSACK; E.P. School Committee Vice Chair STEVEN SANTOS; Congressional candidate JOHN LOUGHLIN; Attorney General candidate ERIK WALLIN; General Treasurer candidate KERRY KING; Secretary of State candidate CATHERINE TAYLOR; Lieutenant Governor candidate HEIDI ROGERS; and R.I. Young Republican Chairman TRAVIS ROWLEY.

Of course, you will also get to meet and hear from all of our great candidates for state and local office, including our candidates for R.I. State Senate, DAVID SULLIVAN and STEPHEN GERLING, and candidates for R.I. State Representative, STEPHANIE SIVALINGAM and THOMAS CLUPNY.

Tickets for this great event are affordably priced at only $25.00 PER PERSON. R.I. Young Republicans can attend for only $15.00. Children of all ages are FREE with a paying Adult. Of course, if you can give more than $25.00, please do so! Sponsorship levels: Platinum: $1000, Gold: $500, Silver: $250, Bronze: $100. Even if you are unable to attend, your contribution would be greatly appreciated.
