The next meeting of the East Providence Republican City Committee is scheduled for Monday, February 8th at the home of Steve and Kathy Santos, 4 Thurston Street, in Riverside, at about 7:00PM.

The East Providence Republican City Committee thanks everyone who attended our "Fantastic Fall Fundraiser" on November 5th at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Riverside. It was our biggest and best fundraiser to date!

Due to the recent resignation of Rep. Betsy Dennigan, there will be a Special Election in House District 62 to replace her. The RI Secretary of State has called for the Special Election to be held on Tuesday, December 29, 2009.

The Republican candidate for the Special Election will be Thomas Clupny of Rumford.
